Chrystal C. is coordinating the summer party much to Joanne’s dismay

Darrel W. talks tops for the fair

John K. looking for eyeglass and hearing aide donations

Show and Tell items

Rick H. – tops with crystals – tops cut with beading tool. Also boxes with cabochons

Jeff V. – first hollowform – also brought beeswax for club

John As. – Mystery wood (probably Ceanothus) dyed black around fissures simulates burning

John As. carving in Birch – says too soft

John tried to remove two fingers on the table saw

David F. explained how he chucked the winged bowl

Darrel W. extolled all his mentors

Bryan R. repaired turning with fast setting polyurethane

Jim R. experimented further with wax and CA glue to make a wood vessel unstained by red wine

He says CA then wax wiil do it

Sam T. talked on the many facets of sharpening tools

Al G. discussed CBN and aluminum oxide grinding wheels

Honing a gouge with diamond card

Plenty of wood for the raffle – some Camphor and Olive
