Dry wood important – use moisture meter
The rewawn laminated board – about 3/16 thick used to make 3/4″ wide rings cut on the scroll saw. Resawn on the band saw with 3/4″ wide blade and 3 tpi
Spirng clamps good for gluing up pairs of rings prior to final assembly
The stacks of rings are assembled/glued up to base block on lathe using centering cone on tail stock. Centering cones can be shop made. The rings are staggered to form a spiral.
