Ventura County Fair 2007 from August
1 to August 12
The Channel Islands Woodturners participated as
in previous years by entering pieces to be judged, having a display cabinet of
turned work, and by joining with the Wood Carvers and Boat Builders to staff a
brand new booth with live demonstrations of our crafts. Below are photos from
the booth and links to a list of prize winners and to a separate page with
photos of the winning pieces. Greg Radley and Tom McMillin did an excellent job as judges for the woodturning
division. The judging took place on
July 24th and the photos of winning work are from that date. Many thanks
to Russ Babbitt and Joel Oksner for help the judges and to Art Waldinger for taking the photos
of winning work.
